What is worse, the darkness or the monster you know?

You here this phrase, or I do quite often, “better the Devil you know.”

But IS it better? Is alcohol better for an alcoholic than the pain of withdrawal? Is an abusive relationship better than the pain of loneliness? What if the devil you know IS worse?

It was thoughts like that, and wanting to see Urk and Al a few years later that inspired me to write their 2nd story. What happens when you’re wrong about something you desperatly believe, something you desperetly NEED to believe? Pain? Revelaton? I don’t know, but I know, I hope it’s a good story.

So is it REALLY beter to choose the Devil you know? I don’t know, but Al and Urk are about to find out.
